Patsy , what is the good news ?

Hi gal , I think that you said that  you had a weigh in on the weekend ??  I am anxious to see how you did. I hope that you dont mind me asking .  I love to follow up on stories.  How are you feeling now  & are you off the liquids  yet ?   Heres a big group hug     .  I hope that you are sailing right through  this .

Hi there, yes yesterday was weigh-in day.  My scales hadn't dropped a whole lot so wasn't sure what to expect, but, I was down 3 lbs at WW.  that's a total of 69.  I'm thrilled.  I went to a work function friday night even though i'm on sick leave and everyone noticed a huge difference in my appearance.  It was vey satisfying to get the feedback !!!!!!!!!!!  

It's all worth it girls !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONGRATS PATSY on the 3 lb loss. That is a lot of  weight . What are you eating now ?
Do you feel good ?   Do you have a follow up app with Dr B ?

Hi Cat, thanks for the congrats.  I feel great.  Glad to be on pureed foods now.  tired of liquids.  although I'm having a love affair with orange juice.  I gave up diet coke pre-surgery and now i have a new appreciation for juice.  I am actually going to Moncton on Thursday to see Dr. B to get my staples out.  I can't wait.  I'll be happy when they are gone.  I will be scheduled to go back probably before xmas to get my first fill.  He said its usually 6-8 weeks after surgery.  he wants to make sure the port site is completely healed before he puts the needle in.  doesn't want to force infection into the tube.  I appreciate that.  Things will feel differently after the fill.  It usually  takes 3 or 4 fills to feel restriction.  I'll let you know.
Other than that, things are awesome and i'm feeling very happy with everything.
