I have an Avatar

I finally have an avatar but my question is how do I resize it so that it does not look distorted.  I notice some of you have great photos.  How did you do it?

I have a program that resizes my pics then I save them & then upload them .

I use a program online .....except I can't remember the name ......I think it is "shrinkpictures" . It is definitely "shrink" and a reference to pictures. I found it on the lapband forum. If you go there and ask, you will get an answer printo.

Something I noticed about eveyone on this forum who has an avatat.  The smile - everyone has a nice smile and kind eyes.  So I tried to find a photo of me smiling - kinda hard since smiling in photos is not what I usually do.  I try real hard but usually the sadness and the pain of lugging around all this extra weight shows through.  I do love this forum though, its a great place to learn about our procedures and to learn that we are not alone and the pain will go away someday.  I am so glad I found all of you.
