Your right Charline , the machines are expensive , but thank God we do have coverage , I have called & asked them already .  If I DO have sleep apnea , & the surgery cures it , I know that my hubby should use it .

I am hopeful, but I don't think the cure is as fast as it is with diabetes. I have stopped needing my machine when I have lost weight in the past. When I gain weight I need it again.  With diabetes the "cure" is related to how much you eat and how much fat you have. at least that is the case with the band. My diabetes may not be type 2 or it may be a combination of 1 & 2 because my panceas is a mass of  scar tissue. I am so hoping that it is type 2 and will be cured.
