Support group time again.

Hey gang!
It's time to start planning our next get together. I am going to suggest that we meet at the Ramda Hotel. It is on the old TCH. You may know it as Howard Johnsons. The reason I suggest it is I went to a good-bye dinner there last week and we had a table out in the indoor court yard and we saw virtually no one else the entire time. We stayed as long as we wanted too. The icing on the cake is the menu- they had smaller portion options for several of the items. As before, we meet the first Tuesday of the month- November 4th at 6:30.  Can I make a reservation for you?

Did a Mapquest Search and found the hotel however I was wondering if anyone would consider the Blue Canoe in Oromoncto instead.  Or any other restaurant in Oromoncto as I have an errand to do there.

I will be driving from Moncton and will need to drive back home that night rather than having a sleepover like last month so even saving the 20 minutes or so each way would make a big difference for me.  Plus less likely that I would get lost, LOL.

If anyone wants to car pool from Moncton, just let me know!

Count me in! I will be bringing my daughter with me as well this time.  She is considering WL surgery too.  Just let me know where and when.

The Ramada is a great set up for our group and the food is good too, but we can save it for another time either when Michelle can't make it or she can stay in Freddy. Any objections to the Big Stop? Maybe Krista and / or Prancing_nought could make it too because it is closer the St John too.

HI!  I sure wish I could come along, but won't be around.  I am already looking forward to dinner on December 2nd!  And if we do get people coming up from Moncton and Saint John...it really would be nice if we are somewhere there in Oromocto or along that highway...it would make it alot nicer for folks to get in the car for the drive home!

For those that are shy....it was really really nice last time.  And in this province of waiting lists and understanding what the steps are to get this surgery...it really is a key success factor to know the score.

I know last time Lori was giving some great tips on calling...and low and behold...Michelle took them to heart..and has some great success because of it.   So...support groups may not normaly  be your "thing" but trust me... this type of get together is really helpful and could reall give you some tidbit you did not even know you were missing!.

Remember to bring all your pictures...before and after folks!  That is so cool!
