It's a GO!!!!!
Had my gastroscopy today and Dr. B. liked what he saw!! Its a go!!! He said within the month but Lise said he is often overly optimistic and not to be disappointed if it takes longer but I should be getting the call for pre op testing soon. I was lucky in that I was able to sign my papers today as well, OMG my mind is racing. I was so afraid he would say no. And now that he has said everything looks good and that the surgery will even help my condition, I am all jittery and excited and scared all at once. I cannot believe my good fortune. I am actually going to get a chance to be healthy. My weight was down and so he said he saw committment on my part and so he was very encouraging. He is an awesome doctor and I am very happy to be so lucky to finally get to this point and to have this wonderful opportunity. Today was an awesome day!!!

Thanks to you and the others for the positive comments. I love this forum, people you may have never met and may never meet are on your side, full of encouragement, eager to share experiences.
