Got my initial consult Appt with Dr Savoie

I got my initial consult Appt with Dr Savoie in Bathurst.  It is on Oct16th....Wow! if anyone can share the timelines after the initial consult, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'll let you know how it goes since I have my initial consult with Dr. Savoie in two days!

It's probably hard for us Dr. B. patients to say cause we only know what kind of schedule he is working on.  Dr. S might be wide open and be able to do things quickly.  Hard to say but Best of Luck and hope things move quickly for you.

It's kinda sad that I never had the chance to meet Dr. Beausoleil, I have been on his list for a long time, but it's like my family dr said: I'm sure Dr. Savoie is just as nice :P

I have been on Dr. B's list for quite a while also...but I am very confident that we will have amazing stories to share, just as Dr B's patients do.

I'll know in two more sleeps! So excited!

I have to admit, the feedback from Dr. Beausoleil was so positive. Everyone is just like "he's the nicest doctor ever, blah blah blah"

It dosn't matter to me that I see another doctor at all. I like to think that anyone going into WLS for a living must have some compassion for overweight people.

I think there are so many variables and no track record to look at, so I guess the best thng to do is ask the good doctor when you see him.
I found Dr B to be nice enough, but not so nice that I would hesitate to go elsewhere to speed up the process.  On the other hand, he is super easy on the eyes!

So happy for you- I went last week and I was informed I will be getting surgery before Christmas or in the first week of January.
