New WLS in Bathurst?

 I've heard about a possible new dr. doing the band surgery in Bathurst, so I called Dr. B's office, and she told me that at this point it's just a rumour.  Anyone know anything about this?  

I've only heard from Nathalie that it is a rumour as well.

 ...and yet I was contacted by someone from another board who told me that Dr. B told him that there *was* going to be a dr. in Bathurst....

It would be nice to know what is really going on, eh? It's so frustrating.

I think that Nathalie has to tell the barest amount of information because she probably doesn't know it herself, and it's easier just to give out those answers as she only has a certain amount of time per day to take calls. But it still would be nice to know exactly where we stand.

I would not be surprised if it were true. There are 2 plastic surgeons in Bathurst (one or both in private practice) . I wonder if the one that does the "other than facial" plastic surgery has added this to his practice.  Is there anyone from this message board living in or near Bathurst  who could check this out? I would love to be first in line at his door, I;m sure that I am not alone.

In 2006, there were around 800 patients to see Dr. Beausoleil, so I can imagine that the number of patients has gone up since then, but still not good news.

 Dr. B's office told me there were "thousands" waiting.  :(

I think the wait list is going to start moving faster, so I think you have picked a good time to be referred.
