#10 on the lap band list!

i don't know if there is anyone out there to read this, but.....i called Dr B's office to see where I am on the waiting list. I am tenth on the list of people who want lapband and have not had their consult. This means that i am likely going to get THE call in October or December this year!!! Wooo! Hooo!

Congratulations. You won't regret the band. I wish you best luck. It's probably the best decision I have ever made for myself. I hope it will be the same for you. Josée

What procedures have you done already ie: psy, sleep apnea ect??

I am #10 on the list to start the process. That's reason enough for me to celebrate.

That's fantastic!!! When did you get approved for surgery? I've been approved since June 07. Were you approved in 06?

No I has was not approved when the rules changed in February. I suppose that my placement on the list is based on the initial referral date to Dr B in 2004. I was waiting to see the endocrinologist all that time. I have not been through the info session and testing, so I am sure there are more than 10 ahead of my for the surgery, but only 9 ahead of me for the info session.
