Is anyone else received a check today for the band?

I'm just curious to see how many people received a check of $4500.00 for the reimbursement of the band. They will pay back anyone who have had a band since August 18 2006.

Why did you recieve a check??? I am tryingto get the banding done and am starting thru the hoops and words

Hi, I am assuming that you are a US citizen. The other ladies ( including Pam) are Canadian and our province would pay for the surgery, but not the cost of the band, This changed in February of this year and people who had recently had the surgery had the cost of the band refunded.

I did too, just yesterday. THIS IS WONDERFUL! My surgery was last february. Pascale
