Home safe and sound!

My surgery was done as planned on April 17th- I arrived home sweet home late on the night of April 20th. I can't thank Krista C. enough for her ongoing support, encouragement, spare bedroom, laughs and friendship. And thanks also to all of you whose posts and blogs have kept me going while waiting these past years. I'm going to blog on my profile so others may benefit as I did. I'll try my best to be as up to date as I can. I'm doin' great! Following post-op diet and instructions to the "T". No problems so far. I still feel a bit tired and slightly weak at times- normal stuff 5 days after an anaesthetic. Every day I feel better. Have an appt to get my staples out on April 30th. Can you believe it? Staples out- I can hardly believe it! And- best of all- I'm not hungry- You were right Krista!!!!! Thanks again everyone- for those of you still waiting- don't despair- your time WILL come!
