Surgery booked forApril 17th.

Hi- I live in Newfoundland- have been back and forth to Moncton over the past 3 years and finally have a date. I wanted to post because it HAS been very quiet on the board lately and wanted everyone to know that there is still surgery being booked and done (hopefully). I'm having the gastric bypass. Thanks to all of you for posting and sharing your experiences- I have learned a lot over the past three years. I also plan to fill in my profile and share my story, and try to post regularly following my surgery - hopefully I can help others out as well! Cheers!

Hi Mary I am so happy for you.I had wls on Dec 1 2003,my starting weight was 599 lbs.Today I weigh about 265 lbs.Weight loss surgery does work and I am living proof.Good luck Mary and email back soon steve
