lapband question

hi i had my first fill on thursday and maybe haveing a small problem maybe this is a normal thing . i`m haveing a problem eating only liquids will do down easy everything else gets stuck i `m trying pureed foods nothing works other than soup is this tempory will it go away in a few days or am i too tight any help even when i do soup can`t get much down same with water any ideas just had my surgery dec4 2007 maybethis is normal and will correct it self in a few days jacqueline macdougall

I'd give Lise a call. I have found sometimes it took longer before I could eat anything much at all after an adjustment. One thing though that you should really take note of is how much you are putting into your mouth. Maybe start with your mushies but only use a small spoon and only fill it up half. Sometimes it just takes a more gradual approach to things. Some people get irritated and the stomach swells up slightly after an adjustment so that has to ease as well. If that happens you have the stomach swelling a bit PLUS the adjustment. It just takes a bit of time is all. I had a fill in June and in all honestly it was over 6 weeks before I could get any solids down at all. I still have a bit of trouble but not enough to worry about. But I'd still give them a call, just to ease your mind.
