Im Theresa from Fredericton NB. I like to post here every now and then to keep up with others and share.
I had RNY gastric bypass in Montreal in September of 2006. I self paid a total of around 20,000 with air fare and hotel expenses. My husband and I used about 6000 in savings and got a loan for the other 14000. We pay 400 a month for my surgery.
I began my journey at 327 pounds, I have lost 175 pounds and am now 152 pounds. I have about 10 pounds of excess skin I am looking to have removed in 2008.
I have an appointment with Dr Haswell here in Fredericton in January to talk things over. I am very excited to get to my next phase of the weight loss and into weight maintenance.
I hope everyone is working towards their healthier, happier self if not there already. My mailbox is always open to anyone who needs advice or wants to hear about how things have gone for me
