Hi Jay, I had my consult in September 2006 , my info session on Sept 11, 2007 and I go sign my consent papers on Oct 19th. They are hoping that I will have my surgery by January 2008. I will be surprised if those dates hold true, but Natalie said that he got quite a few surgeries done over the summer and does not plan to take any holidays for the remainder of this year. She said that he did not do surgeries in December last year , but she does not know what his plans are for 2007. Take one day at a time Jay , it will be here before you know it!! Well I sure hope you he does ... I would rather do it this year for a variety of reasons besides that I want to get it over with and move on with my new life ! I have made one major change since my info session, I drank quite a bit of Diet Coke , my dad worked at Coca Cola for years so pop was part of my every day life for over 40 years! I have no had one since September 10th !! I know it is a small step , but I am taking one step at a time . I feel more confident that I can do this than I did say a month ago! So I hope with each change ( not drinking when I eat is hard , and remembering to chew well ) will bring me closer to being ready for this life changing event!!
