Update.
I didn't want to really post this seeing as some have been waiting for a long time..but I waited for almost 5 years too..
But I thought I'd note an update..
Since I had my surgery on the 5th of June I've lost 32 lbs and 23 inches.
and I don't have any problems with any food at all..been paying attention to the diet and not trying out the forbidden foods as I don't want to even take the chance of finding out what dumping feels like.
I joined the Y a couple of days ago and plan on going 4 to 5 times a week..starting out just doing a half hour on the treadmill and 15 mins on the recumbant lifecycle.
For a while I had some severe mood swings but things seem to be levelling out now..and I have started losing some of my hair like they said would happen but nothing that I'm overly concerned about.
Congratulations! You are doing great! I can't wait to hear more. I think it is important to hear from more people about after. I find alot of people stop posting after their surgeries or just post once in a while. It is nice to know people are doing good! Especially when your surgery date gets closer. You start wondering if you are doing the right thing or not, so good to know the good things that have happened to people who have already had the surgery!
Keep posting! I love to hear all about how you are doing!!!
I know it is frustrating waiting and waiting, but it also gives us people who are waiting something to look forward to when our day comes!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! It is always nice to hear the success stories of everyone who has had there surgery. It is encouragement for those of us who are still waiting, when we hear updates it gives us something to look forward to. I hope you have continued success and PLEASE keep us all posted!
Take care!
