Still waiting to see the specialist!

I have been waiting 2 years to see Dr. McGibbons in Fredericton for a recommendation to Medicare. I have at least another year to wait!! Does anyone know of an specialist with a shorter wait time. My daughter's wedding is a year away and I would dearly love to have my lap band in the next 6 months. Yes I know I am dreaming, but what's wrong with dreaming? It is always worth a shot!

Hey Charline, Not sure if he has a shorter list to wait...but I went to see Dr Dornan in Saint John. I only waited about 3 months to get into to see him. He sent the medicare papers that day and I was approved that very same day. (although I didn't know it as medicare forgot to send the letters out - or the Drs never did get the letters anyways....so after a month of hearing nothing - I called. Hope this helps.
