Pre-op tests are done!
Chin up, kid! (or chins in my case)) Surgery is no big deal these days. Yes there are risks and there is recovery time, but serious complications are rare. You are a young, healthy women and I am sure that Dr B would not be doing the surgery if it were too risky. I know that there are people that will tell you about the high risk of death with these surgeries but the statistics are related to the super morbidly obese. You are miles away from super morbidly obese. Call me if you need a pep talk!
PS- ask for a tranquillizer for the morning of surgery or even one for the night before- my last surgery I was told that these have to be arranged in advance- live better through chemistry!
Awe thanks Charline! You are sweet!!
That is good advice. I will have to ask at the next appointment about having something to calm me down in case i need it. I imagine I will for sure!
Thanks again! I may have to take you up on the offer for a pep talk when the time gets closer!
How are you making out????
