I am finally post-op
Hi everyone.Thanks for the support you guys have been giving me.There were many a days I was ready to pack it in.
I had spoke to Br.b's office last week after the second cancelation and they told me that there MIGHT be a chance for me to get in this week.I was to call the hospital Tuesday morning and see if there was room for me.After the other times ,I didnnot hold much faith in them finding room for me.Lo and behold 8am Tuesday morning I was told that my surgery was scheduled for 11-45am that day.
All went as planned and expected.I am sooooooo glad its over but still praying I did the right thing.
I am in a lot of pain and discomfort.(its only been 48hrs).When did most of you feel somewhat normal?

OH Donna! Yayyyyyy.... glad to have you aboard.. I also had the RNY but didn't have a lot of pain until I got home, then I felt like I got hit by a bus *L* luckily it only lasted about 2 days... I was uncomfortable for about 3 days after that so I made sure to move around slowly and just took it easy... Good luck with your journey and be sure to keep us posted on your progress... and remember every single pound counts!!!
