Information Session
When I had my consult, Dr. B. told me it would be 6 months after my info session.
However I had my information session in November, and just went to sign my consent forms... he told me again when i signed my consent forms it would be within 6 months.
When I was at the information session they said that it would probably be 4-5 months after the info session.
Hope that helps

Hi Angela - I am going a week before you on the 16th. I asked the secretary what is the WORST case scenario and she said another 6 months to a year. I hope to GOD it isn't that long! She told me there are 11 people scheduled for the LapBand so far in the New Year but some of them don't want to have the surgery 'til March or June.
I don't know how many surgeries they do a month - she said sometimes he does one, sometimes he does three. I don't know if she meant a week or a month. I'm assuming it's a month though and not a week or she wouldn't have told me 6 months to a year.
Wishing you (and me!) a quick turnaround time.
Are you getting Lap Band or RNY?
Hi Krista,
Thanks for the info. I did ask Dr. Beausoleil's secretary and she said that it would be reasonable to say that if i do have my info session in January, singing of papers could be as early as february or March and then anytime after that. I am gaging around May - June... if not before. I am trying not to set a date in my mind just in case something happens and it is pushed... i would be disappointed. Soo I am playing it by ear for the moment.
I am getting RNY and you?
I can't wait to hear from your experience at the info session..
