HELP!!!!!!

Hi I am looking for a doctor that does the gastric bypass surgery. So far almost every place I have called has a waiting list that is over 5 years. I have congestive heart failure and am over weight and have be recommended by my heart doctor to get this done so I live longer. But I don't know if I can wait over 5 years to get it done. Can any body give me a number I can call or even give me some info that they know of on waiting lists or how long or anything. I have already been aproved by my Medical to get the operation done I just need some facts. If someone can help it would help me. thank you.

Hi Lori Wow your medical condition should give you a bit of priority!! Here is the number for Dr. Beausolei at George Dumont Hospital in Moncton. 506-869-2090. Ask for Lise Mallet or Joceline Brun. Hi Lori - I would suggest Ontario or the States if you need this right away. I've heard alot of people go to Mexico as well. Pop over to the main Lap Band board and post there and I am sure you will get lots of prospects. Your life and your health are worth it - although you will have to pay if you go outside NB. But this is our LIVES we are talking about it right? What is $10-20K to be alive? (My counsellor just asked me that this week and he's right) Wishing you well -- I've been waiting for 2 3/4 yrs for Dr B so far and am hoping to get in within the next 6 months but I understand the list now for him is much longer.
