DECH Support Group

In one of the other threads Deb posted about a support group at the DECH. I'd be very interested in the info if it can be found. It's too bad that no one at the DECH can do fills...would be allot more convenient for us Freddy Beachers..Hubby is a paramedic and most of his calls go to the DECH..I will see if I can get him to get me some info to post as well. He may well be able to get more info than we would by just calling the info desk. (we will see) Yanno...I would wonder if there were enough of us calling or using the support group..maybe they might consider some sort of clinic here instead of us all traveling to Moncton. Even if it were just for fills and dietition support and such. One can only hope. PS...Do any of you Frederictonions know what DECH *REALLY* stands for? (Don't EVER Come Here!)

Hi! The meeting of the Fredericton WLS support group usually takes place the 2nd Tuesday evening of every month. Denise Coulombe sends out an email telling of the time and place to the people on her list. If you are interested, please email me at [email protected] and I will forward your email to her. Deb, thanks so much for posting this information. I couldn't believe it when I saw your post as I used to work with Denise 10 years ago in Saint John. Thank you for putting me in touch with her -- talking with others is such a great way to find out more about this "journey" and for me, to be able to talk to someone I actually know who went through it first hand is even better. I'm going to try to make it to the meeting in F'ton as well (I live in Saint John). Thanks~
