Thanks guys......This really was an experience for me. I hadn't had sugery since I was 5 so I really didn't know what to expect. Each day gets a little better - the dilaudid helps a bit too....lol. I'm really having a hard time with just liquid and 8 days to go......I'm really hungry but can't even think about putting anything in my mouth because I am still quite nauseous. Popsicles are a life saver. My wounds are healing fine. I freaked out when I removed my bandages and saw the staples....... Thanks again for the well wishes.
