Hello, I was banded in MX but Dr. Rohrer does my fills here in Montana. I got my first fill a couple weeks ago and it didn't hurt and he hit it the first time. It's nice to know there are others banded in MT. Sharon

Marianne, It was great to hear from you. Glad to hear that you are doing so well. Dr. Rohrer said that I only had to do one week of liquids because my BMI was only 38.6. If I were larger then I would've done the 2 weeks. I'm doing well. Dr. Rohrer said I can advance my diet as tolerated since I was banded instead of having a bypass. I only still hurt at my port site. I worked for a couple of hours on Thursday and a couple on Friday. A little too soon. I am going back tomorrow because I can only work Monday and Tuesday this week. We are leaving Wednesday to take my son to college at BYU in Provo, UT. I really do like Dr. Rohrer. I go back to see him September 26th for my 1st fill. Enjoy that cheese, and keep healing!

Maybe its cuz they, like me, get sick of wading through the messages that are posted here that are either advertisements or have to do with something on another board I mean just look at this board. 99% of the posts are ads of some kind. Who wants to shuffle through all that stuff to figure out what is a real post and whats a "hey check this out" ad post. Not to mention that even on cable its takes forever for this board to load. I wish we could at least get emails to when something was posted here. Then we could at least surf through it to find a true Montana post. We then lol of course you reply and no one replies back anyways lol so I guess its a mute point. We are soooooooooooo going to blow a fuse of some kind for all these posts lol. It wont know what to do with itself. Ok Im slow whats NoDak? Felicia

Hey from Havre! How are you doing? WOW, you only had to do one week of liquid diet, huh? That's not bad. I had to do 2 weeks, cuz it shrinks the liver or some such thing... I'm doing well, but I can't eat too much yet. Still on liquids AND purees, like ricotta cheese (which I love) or "smushed" fruits. I still drink a protien shake a day, and try for 2. How's the band doing? I have "grouchy pouch" days, when it doesn't like what I eat and then I feel bad all or most of the day... write back soon! PS: don'tcha love Dr. Rohrer? I think he's pretty cool. I like that he takes time to listen..

did you say BILLINGS? you may have to put aside personal differences and accept a friendship with a NoDak. ;) I have been gone so long, I do not know if NoDak jokes are still floating around, I know they were hysterical when I was much much younger. ;) so I guess lack of montana'ns here is either because there are no fluffy montana'ns or they value all that fluff to keep them insulated or what? I have no idea. I know that i got much fluffier when I got here down south where rich food eating is a professional sport not just a recreational activity. ;) Kat [Photographer & Mom of 5] [[ Some people are like slinkies, they don't really have a purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.]] 275/247/194/150 start/surgery/today/goal
