Actually I think its more along the lines that no one hardly checks this board. You might pop over to the Main board or what ever surgery type your having board. They are usually moving a lot faster with more people. You could also do a peer search to find people in your area that have had the surgery. Lastly you can do a surgeon search to see what surgeons in your area are listed on Obesity help. What would you liked to know? You posted above that you wanted to know if its ok and safe? I am not sure how to answer the "is it ok" part but the safe part I would have to say YES! Sure there are complications that can happen but if you do your research you can be prepared for just about anything that comes your way. Do you know what type of surgery you are wanting to have?
