hi   just found you guys.  i am glad to have found this.  can't seem to figure out how to use the chat group.  my computer skills are a bit lacking!  and then probably some.  does anyone know about financing available for gastric bypass.  my copay is 25% so have to come up with some way to make payments or something like that.  have you had your procedure yet?  do you think the gastric bypass is dangerous?  what about recovery?  would love to hear from anyone that has time to e mail bgack.   thank you now and god bless   vaughn

Hello, I have been researching lab banding for a number of years. We have BCBS private group insurance I was told that they ofer zero help for lap banding. My situation is growing dimmer by the minute. I have no idea how, where what to do to try and get this procedure done. I have had a consult, been to Benefis and had the psych evaluation done, and had the post op diet. I just recently got diagnoised with diabetes, and i am devastated. I have been on the nutrsystem for some months and have lost almost 30 pounds, i have tried diet pills....then the yo-yo starts again. My day to day bloodsugars have never ran high. But my A!C just keeps creeping up everytime it is ran. Anyway, for you bandsters here in Montana, did you pay for your surgeries out of pocket? Did anyone have help via your insurance? I am at my witts end and becomming desperate. Thanks

I have been with the state for 12 years and if approved by insurance I will have surgery July 14. I can't believe it is really going to happen.  I agree with the Why Weight thing. It is lame and I don't quite understand how it applies. I am the same way in regards to the thought of just doing whatever I have to get done to finally get to have the surgery. I am having surgery with Dr. Rohrer in Great Falls btw. Lisa is as awesome as I read about her on all of the blogs. We should all keep in touch.
