Glad to hear you are home and doing so well!! The headaches are most likely from the Lortab since one of the side effects of that is headaches. If they are really causing you problems you might call Dr. Martin's office and see if they have a replacement for you that wont cause you the headaches.
Congrats on getting so much water in!! Hope you are doing as well getting your protein in! Its so tough that first month.
Sorry to hear about the shots. I didn't have to go through that other then I think I got 2 of them before I left the hospital.
Best wishes to you!!

I am so glad you are well. You and Amy should schedule your doctor appointments for that week in October and come and see me.
I'm tired, will talk to you later,
Diane
I am new to the online world, but not so new to the wls world. I had surgery April 30, 2007 and have lost a considerable amount of weight. I am in Helena and would really love to join a support group here, but can't find one. Any other Helenans who know of a support group (face to face) or would like to start one?
Well I would certainly follow whatever your surgeon's advice for the pre-op diet is. With that being said, if you think you can drink only 4 shakes a day for two weeks, wow...more power to you! I was nothing but hungry and grouchy the entire 2 weeks (my family will concure)!
Of course, the reason you do the pre-op diet is to shrink that liver and make the surgeon's job a little easier when he's in there...so the more weight you lose the better. However, I was surprised that when I arrived for my scheduled surgery, my pre / prior / current weight was never even discussed! I'm not sure what your surgeon or hospital would do as their protocol.
I'm sure the Dr. would *know* whether you made a pre-op diet attempt when performing the surgery. I did my darnest to follow his recommendation, and did lose about 13 lbs in that 2 week diet. But it wasn't easy!
Good luck~
Amy~

Hello I just moved to Montana in June. My husband is Air Force and I have tricare I got my referral and will be seeing Dr. Dale Mortensen in Great Falls, MT. Just wondering if anyone has had LapBand/gastric bypass in Great Falls, through tricare? My consult is on Aug 26th.
Carly
