I have a Date for Surgery Sept 6th

in Curitiba, Brazil with Dr. Marchesini. He will be doing an Open DS on me then. I can't wait!! I know that the time will pass quickly and I only have 81 or 82 days left. There is so much to do. Hugs, Deb from MT

Hi Deb! Good Luck and congrats on your date!! I know you must be excited...I had mine done 5/25/05...doing very well. I've lost 35 pounds so far and I feel great! My brother lives in Great Falls and I live in New Jersey...I was just wandering... Good Luck and God Bless, Shaun

Shaun, First of all, congrats on your weight loss! That is wonderful. Keep up the great work! When was the last time any of us lost 35 pounds in one month and kept it off with out surgery. Before you know it you will be at your goal. I am excited, scared (1 %) and just can't wait even though I know I have to. I know my dh can't wait either. Especially knowing all the things we will be able to do and go see etc. Thanks for taking the time to post. Deb from Montana

Thanks Linn. Can't believe I now have only 64 days till my surgery! Wow, time is flying by. 9 weeks !!! Trying to keep up with buying all that I need to take over there. Today was getting my Visa pictures and tomorrow I'll send that off to get processed. Already have my passport that was just renewed earlier this year. Not too sure if I'm gonna go on and buy a personal DVD player or not. I know it's not too much money, yet this first year is so expensive when ya self pay for your surgery due to other cir****tances. Glad I'm going out of the country as I couldn't afford to have it done here in the States!! Enough for today. Ya'll have a great week, Deb from Montana
