Appeal to Insurance Company

Has anyone out there received a denial from BC/BS of MT and got an appeal approved?

Hi Rosalind, I have BC/BS NJ, so I can't tell you what happens in Montana, but it NEVER hurts to appeal. Blue Cross is pretty good with accepting appeals. Write from the heart, show statistical proof as to why you need surgery - even send a picture of yourself in a swimsuit and ask them if they'd like to spend the rest of their life in your body! I had a friend do that who wanted plastic surgery and got denied. (She was approved on the third appeal). Don't give up! Good luck!! Denise
