No, no.... I'm not talking about myself...

I'm talking about a balance of things like what your family eats versus what you're eating.  I know that they will eat better than they ever have in the past just because you've had surgery and most of you are the menu-creators of your home....so  I've put a couple of new recipes out on the recipe forum and not all of them are for you....some of them are for people in your house that are still way lower in carbs than they would eat if left to their own devices....

Anyway...  go read about them....please leave a comment...  and please know that others in the forum also post their recipes....it helps us as a community not to be bored with mundane meals that we get stuck making...

as for me....my mouth craves tangy, gourmet, goodness....so I must be entertained.  Life is so short not to have some form of solace through inspired living....  every meal tells a story...

here's the link to the recipe forum.----> http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/recipe/a,messageboard/boar d_id,5385/

Topic: Everybody working hand over fist?
Hey guys!

I miss you all, and wish I had the time to "play" online, but this end of the year has been so hectic at work....very unusual.  I am thankful I have a good job and that we're busy in this dreadful economy.

We haven't had internet at home in a long time but I asked Santa for a laptop with wireless internet....not holding my breath, especially when he sees my credit card bills............here's what I did:

By the way, does everybody buy themselves gifts when shopping for others?  I hit upon a jewelry sale at Penneys and the vixen I am, I bought one each for the gals in my life and two for myself.  I know I am bad, HOWEVER, I have very few vices left after weight loss surgery (and one of them is jewelry).

Love to everyone!
Anita

It is true about having more energy. However, I am about to get worn down. I have been so busy with work that I do not know which way is up. On top of everything, I have agreed to take a PRN position at a assisted livign facility we serve and I will be working 5p - 11p 3 nights this week. I will leave one job and go straight to another. I am just thakful the lord allowed this to come along. My husband is laid off from his joba nd is starting college in full time in January. So, I will have two college students in my house. My hubby and our son. Guess that makes me the dorm mom...lol!!! Have a good day!

I had some deer meat last night for dinner, but mine was fried.  LOL.  And, boy did it taste good.  Yum. Yum.  I very rarely eat anything fried, so I did suffer some consequences as my tummy isn't used to that.  Was still good though.
