Thanks Amy, I’ve been working on the sipping. I’m trying to constantly be sipping on either protein or water.
Hi Terry & Welcome out of lurk dome.. J I know what you are talking about when it comes to Dr. Dolan, I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to be my surgeon… I trust him so much. I’m so sorry you have been through so much in your quest for bariatric surgery & I hope that everything works out for you.. Jump on in with us all.. I’m trying to do better about posting, but I’ve also been trying to not stay on the computer a lot lately..
I have one son myself, who is the joy of my life & the main reason I made the decision to have this surgery, because if I didn’t I may not be around for the longest time possible. I could barely get down on the floor & play with him let alone chase him around outside for a long period of time. Congrats on getting in the pre-op class in November! Write down any questions you have now & take them with you, cause I made the mistake and didn’t and I forgot 2 big question & no one else asked them either.. 1).What kind of pre-op prep does he make you do? The only thing is clear liquids the day before surgery! No nasty bowel prep! I was so happy about this one.. 2). Does he place any kind of drain in for post op drainage? His answer was NO, unless you have an above average amount of blood loss during surgery, so that was another thing I was super happy about . NO nasty drain! If you have anymore question about how things go at keesler please don’t hesitate to ask!
***So I've tried to fix the crazy font, but it's not working, so sorry about that!
