They didn't say anything about her liver and the mood was very strained so I didn't ask. Her coloring was very good though not jaundiced like you would expect with liver failure so I am assuming it is also functioning. She is on Dopamine at the max dose so that is very concerning. Her defeatist attitude also really worries me. I told her to hang in there.

I am so glad to hear she seems to be improving some. That is great news. I hope she continues to get better with each passing day. You said her kidneys are starting to work. Her liver had also shut down if I remember correctly. So, is it back functioning too? I hope so. That would be wonderful. We will all continue to pray for her. Thanks so much for keeping us all updated. Hope you have a nice weekend.

I just left the hospital and LeGina looked great considering what she has been through. She is having a very tough time emotionally. I mean very tough. She is fully awake and I told her everyone was praying for her and thinking and asking for her. She said "Thank you and tell them I Love them." They did do the tracheostomy today so she is still on the ventilator. She can mouth words but she has no voice right now. She is on medication to stabilize her blood pressure and heart rate and she is still very sick but her kidneys are working very good, so that is a big improvement. Please keep her in your prayers.

Hi Wanda,
The next meeting is Oct. 15th at 6:30. I am so close to my due date not sure if I will make that one or not. The meetings are held every third Monday at 6:30 at Pine Grove. So not sure if I will remember or have the time Come the Nov meetin to email you. lol lol I know with this being my first I will need at least a month for everything to settle down a bit. lol lol So let me go ahead and tell you the Nov meeting is Nov 19th. It shouldnt be a prob to email after that! So I dont mind one bit doing that. We would LOVE to have both of you there!!!!

My friend and I have talked so many times re: attending a meeting... she had surgery in August '07 and I am 9 months post op (Dec '-6)...
Due to an intense schedule teaching inclusion, youth football and band practice to boot... I have missed reading the post about the meeting by a day or two. Would it be asking too much to send me a personal email as a reminder... hopefully we will be able to attend the one in October.
