Topic: RE: LeGina update 10-23-07
Thanks so much Tammy for keeping us updated on LeGina. She is such a precious lady. I am so sorry that she has had a setback. I am from Texas and I had emailed her and she me prior to her panni removal. I am going to continue to pray for God to heal her totally so that she will be able to continue her life and regain her health. Please tell her that we are praying for her if you talk to her daughter or see her. I will try to check your messageboard more often for updates on her.
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Topic: RE: finally chekcing in again
Thanks for the reply. I've had kidney stones before several years ago & that's not it. What I felt w/ kidney stones was like non stop back labor. This was actual stomach pain...right below rib cage. Hasn't happened again since so thats good.
Topic: RE: finally chekcing in again
I wonder if you have a kidney stone? My (fellow WLS, by the way) urologist said that WLS patients tend to have them, and also said that they hurt only when they are blocking the urine flow, so if one gets turned on its side it might stop hurting. Just a thought...

Where are you living now? That would help us recommend a place for you to go, I'd think.

Dr. Freeman in Anniston, Alabama takes medicare and medicaid. I believe you have to show where you have dieted for 6 months. My sister will have GBP RNY on 12/17/2007. I was very impressed with him and his staff seems to be very knowledgable about the surgery. I can't remember his website, but his name is Brian Freeman.
Good Luck,

Welcome to the MS Board - we are down lots of members lately, but still here !!! Great advice from Rhonda - Also, we have a peer group meeting in Jackson at CMMC on the 2nd Tuesday every month at 7:00. There are some other meetings around the state (coast, Oxford, Meridian ?, near Hattiesburg). Good luck to you, and just keep asking questions..
My sister is living in Indiana, maybe you know her !! LOL -
