Topic: I tried

I have tried and tried to find out funeral arrangements for Legina and was unsuccessful.  A couple of people from the main board even gave me Haley's cell number, but when I dial it I just get a recording that the number has been disconnected.  I was really wanting to try and go as I only live about 20 minutes from where she lived.  I hate I couldn't find out anything.  Her whole situation has just touched me and made me realize the devestation that obesity can acutally cause.

Topic: RE: Burping
I am two years post op and can remember the burping. Everyone is different. I would not say you are doing anything wrong. Just remember to take small sips and that might help. Congratulations on your surgery. I hope everything else is going well for you.  Cheryl

Hi, my sister-in-law is selling hers.  I am not sure what kind it is but it is a very nice bike.  If you want, I can find out the particulars for you.   We live in Picayune, MS, so we aren't far from you at all.

Topic: looking to buy motorcycle
Hi everyone!  I live in the Ocean Springs, MS area and am interested in purchasing a motorcycle.  If any of you have a motorcycle that you are interested in selling or know of someone who is selling one at a reasonable price, please email me at [email protected].  I am interested in a 500-750 cc and one that is LOW to the ground because I am SHORT. Thanks, Beth

Topic: RE: Off Pain Pills for surgery
Hi Sonya, I have never heard of being off pain meds before surgery.  I can only imagine me trying to get around without my lortab, lol.  My doc didn't mention anything about that to me.  I have been taking 1 and a half lortab every day for a while now just to be able to get up and walk.  My knees and back are really bad and I have had a knee replacement several years back, but because of my weight, did little good and now needs doing again.  I am holding out till I have my bypass in hopes that I won't need it when I get this weight off.  I can't think of a reason why he would require you to do without your meds if you needed them. I know you are afraid to ask too many questions , but I would have to know why he feels that way.  Keep me posted on your progress.  Good luck! Hugs, Terry Hust

Hi Sweetie! I have good news!  My husband called Keesler (because he has to live with me,lol) and got an appointment to talk to the doctor about his decision.  We went down and he explained that because of scarring from previous surgery, it may be impossible to do it lap.  He wanted me to see someone else, but I don't want to start all over and go through that whole process again.  I told him I had to have it done even if it killed me, ha.  I asked if he would do an open surgery on me  and he agreed.  He says he will go in a look at it and if he doesn't have to make an open incision, he will go ahead and do it laparoscopically.  I'm thinking it will be okay, and I told him so.  With God, all things are possible!  Anyway, I now have a new surgery date of December 4.  It will give us all a little more time to prepare for it. You are so sweet to keep me in your thoughts.  I appreciate you so much!  I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather.  I certainly am.  Take care! Hugs and kisses, Terry

Terry,    What's the latest?  Now that you've had time to ponder this decision, have you figured out the game plan?

Thinking of you!

HUGS!!
