Topic: Coast Support Group Meeting Tonight!
So I'm just wondering who's coming tonight.. I just realized that the meeting wasn't posted on here.. Probably cause I haven't been on the computer much the last couple of weeks..  April* Here's the message I got from Cheryl about the meeting. Hi everyone. Our meeting for November is going to be on the 6th(next Tuesday) at 7pm at the Pepsi plant on Dedeaux.  We have Andrea Yeager from the Sun Herald coming to give us some holiday ideas and recipes that will work with our nutritional needs. Hope to see everyone there.  We also need to decide what is anything we want to do about a December meeting. Any questions, call me @ (228)547-3915. Cheryl

Hey Coast Lady, Congrats on your first steps.  Yes burpring is normal and a pain.  Get familar with Chewable Gas-X tablets.  They seem to work for me and lots of walking.  I agree with my angel's advice of taking small sips.  I also learned that if you sip water on the down beat of breathing when you exhale than inhaleling it minimizes the air that is going down in your tummy.  I wish you all the best.   HIJACK! Hey Angel I haven't seen you in ages?  How have you been?

Ain't no stopping me now!  I'm on the move!  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, AMEN!

As always, I am continually inspired/encouraged by the loving and caring people in this forum.  You guys are awesome! We are in prayer as well for the entire family. Question:  Where is the funeral home located? God bless, Wanda

I'm so sorry to hear that Legina passed, but she rests in the arms of Jesus now.  She fought a valiant fight.  My deepest sympathy to her daughter and other loved ones, and to you on these boards who cared so much. I haven't been on the board much lately, there's been so many things happening lately to people we know.  One of our good friends passed away last week from a massive heart attack.  His funeral was Oct 31st. The week before that our new grandbaby was in the hospital for 8 days.  They finally determined that he has a faulty valve in one of the tubes that runs between the kidneys and bladder.  It's called vesicouretal reflux (not sure about exact spelling).  They are going to try antibiotics for 3 mos, but have made an appointment with pediatric urologist / surgeon in Jackson, who may want to see him sooner.

Several other things have happened, to the point that I'm afraid to say what next....

Love to all,

Pam

Girl, I know what you mean by busy and kids getting on nerves.  LOL.  This time of year is real stressful for me too.  It is my traveling time of year for work.  I have been flying all over the place.  Plus, holidays and birthdays all fall now.  Glad married life is going well.  As long as you want to kill him every now and then it is all good.  LOL.  Keep him in line, girl.  Ha ha ha. It is probably about a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from Jackson to here depending on traffic.  I did find out that there will be no visitation nor wake and I posted it on here for everybody.  She told me that sometimes when there is a financial strain that people will cut the wake out of the service and just do graveside.  I suppose maybe that is why there won't be one.  The lady at the funeral home didn't know for sure or anything.   Melissa

I spoke with Moore Funeral Home this morning, and there will be no visitation and no wake for Legina.  There will simply be the graveside service on Wednesday.  I really hate that.  I could go to the Funeral home on Tuesday night for visitation, but there is no way I can make the service on Wednesday.  My boss had surgery on her thyroid to remove a tumor so she is out of the office and I have to run monthend closeout this week which means no lunch hours and staying late.  I did go to the link that Karine gave, and I did post a message to her family.  And I think I will send Haley a sympathy card in the mail.   Melissa  P.S.  Deanna, Karine, it takes me about two hours to get to Jackson from here depending on traffic and which part of Jackson I am heading to.

If you find out anything about Tuesday, let me know as I could probably come to that and will just have to see about Wednesday. Thanks - D
