Topic: Hey guys long time no see!!
Hi everyone from my original home!! I wanted to take a few min and say Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! I have been very busy lately, I finally graduated from college and now have my Associates Degree in Medical Billing and Coding and I am pleased to say I have found a good job and I start on Tuesday. I am sooo excited!! I will not be able to come home for Christmas this year due to me starting my new job but I will be there in spirit with you all. I miss you all very much! I still dont have a support group here in TN so I have kinda stalled out on my weight loss im am down 200 pounds still but i am holding steady with a slight flux from month to month, austin is fine and my hubby has decided to go back to school now to get his bachelors in business management so were still keeping on keepin on. I just wanted to stop by and say i love yall and hope you all have a wonderful holiday season.
love yall!!

While shopping in a local walmart, I discovered a Slim Fast product that is low in carb and sugar. Slim-Fast Low Carb Diet has 1g of sugar; 2g of carbs; 190 calories and 20g of protein. I like it... thought I'd share the info with you all!!! Be blessed! Wanda Mack!
Topic: Did you meet a goal??
We have been reading the wonderful goals members have shared online and now we would like to share them with OH Magazine readers. We are looking for goals that were met that can be documented with high resolution photos of you doing that goal. Whether it's skiing, hiking, taking out the trash or fitting into smaller jeans we want to see a photo. Please include your full name, mailing address, and a 30-word quote about what you have accomplished and email it to: [email protected] by Dec 1. Remember, all entries must include a photo.

I'm a little shy of 2 years out from surgery---and normally have no problems....however, thanksgiving proved to me that if I eat unusually rich food, the gas will come! haha. it's funny now, but it wasn't funny the other night as I laid in the bed thinking that something bad was going on. I really thought I was going to have to go to the ER....but in a few hours, it finally passed. it was gas. try to keep a diary of what you eat--see if there are trigger foods that increase your symptoms. i only had problems right after thanksgiving--but i ate dressing, turkey, veggies, casseroles, etc. lots of stuff i don't usually eat. it was good (and in moderation compared to what i'd eaten two years ago!) but i won't do that again until christmas...heh. and then not again till next year.
walk walk walk. lots of water. those will help with gassy pains/pressure/fullness. other than that--time. i've never had luck with the over the counter meds for gas/pain. good luck!
