We do have a Timberhills here, I will go there. Did you have to go to the other Drs for your insurance or was that ordered from the Surgeon. I would like to do as much of it as possible during this six months dieting.  I think I have a OB/GYN appt in March or May, cant remember which. 

Hey Mississippi GIrls! I'm a MS girl myslef living outside DC.  I'm from Biloxi.  I need info on surgeons for my mom.  Who, were, Bariatric Centers of Excellence, programs, etc.  SHe will go to  Mobile or Slidell.  She just wants and experienced & excellent surgeon as well as a program to help supprot her.  SHe may need to explore DS so surgeons who do the DS would be helpful too. They are actually in-network, she said a couple of years ago, BCBS was the best paying, and over the past 2 yrs, have become one of the worse. I called BCBS myself, and they told me as long as I met the criteria (which I do), and follow their guidelines to the letter, leaving no "grey" areas, then my chances were really good.  So I am going Wed to my Endo to see if he will do my supervised 6 month diet that BC requires. I will also try and get the other Dr visits, such as the psych evaluation and see the nutrionist as well during the 6 months.  I HOPE to be able to have my surgery (as long as insurance approves me) by the end of the year.

Did you have any trouble with BCBS? When I spoke to Dr Kings office, they said that they had trouble getting approval from them.

I do not check the board much anymore, but wanted to tell you that I have been praying for you also.  I do not even know what to say except that I feel for you so much, I know there is no way to carry all the pain you have, I only pray that you are able to hand some it over to God when it is too much to bear.  I don't even know if that makes sense or not, but wish I could convey how heavy it makes my heart to even think about what you must be going through.
