Topic: what did y'all eat today??
Hey everybody!! It's been so long since I have been on here...I'm still up in NY ..but I miss Mississippi something awful!!!  Remember how we used to post what did y'all eat today?? That really helped me a lot, and I'm struggling...I've been so depressed since we've moved, its not  that easy to make friends here like it is in Mississippi, don't get me wrong, there are nice people here, but they are not open like we are in the south, so its been a little bit of a challenge for me..I have been eating my feelings..I'm so ashamed to say..but I have been and I've packed on 10 -15 pounds which is horrible....I did make a positive step and I started going to Weigh****cher's meetings...I did it simply for the support groups...and trying to get back motivated to get moving and finish losing my weight.. I'm 2 years out.. and I have 45 STUBBORN pounds that I have to get off to get to where I want to be... Well Here's what I ate today...  1 slice of peanut butter toast with glass of 2% milk 100 calorie pack of muffins for snack Penne chicken TV dinner  by Michelena's  diet coke Mandarin Orange not sure what I'm eating for supper... probably a salad.. I wish we could have more folks post on here..it used to be a lot of fun...but anyway..hope everyone is having a wonderful day!! Crystal

How exciting!  I am so very happy for you.  I myself had gone through 10 years of infertility.  I also have pcod.  We did too many procedures to count.  I finally got pg also.  I was 4 years out from surgery and had just figured I would never conceive.  I was 39 when I found out.  I know have a BEAUTIFUL almost 6 month old baby girl and life could not be more WONDERFUL!!!!!  I wish you the very very best in your pg.  The best advice I can give you is sit back and enjoy every single second cause it all goes by WAY to quick! Love ya Denise

However, I wanted to sahre this with you ladies... It's hard to believe it's real...but...with a diagnosis of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome at 17, 9 years of infertilty treatment, 5 miscarriages, 2 IUI's, 4 IVF, umpteen frozen embryo transfers... I'M PREGNANT!!!! I'm 20 months out from Gastric Bypass surgery and 130lbs down from original weight of 270.  It's still early, and with my history of early miscarriage we're still cautious. However, my numbers are strong, stronger than they've ever been so we are optimistic. I go back to the Dr on Friday for repeat bloodwork and I go back on April 28th, 2 days after my 43rd birthday, for my first US.

Girl I can not believe that child is that old.  He would have to get a job and pay for his own gas if it were me to.  I could not afford more than me and wally's right now.  lol lol Denise

I know all too well about the gas deal.  John works about 25 miles from home in Beaumont.  And he drives a pick-up truck, girl.  So, we purchased him an old little Honda Accord to take back and forth to the mill.   We call it his Hoopty car.  LOL.  But it has already paid for itself in the gas savings.  That car gets some good gas mileage.  It may be old but it saves us a whole lotta money every month.  LOL.  Plus if you can believe it my son is 16 now and driving.  You know how teenagers are.  They gotta ride the rodes.  And he of course has a four wheel drive truck.  He is about to get a job to pay for his gas girl.  Melissa

Thanks girl I will take all the prayers and finger crossing I can take.  lol lol  I spend about $150 a week in gas and being that close to home SURE would help with that to! Denise
