Hey - well, you're just a beautiful lady, you look like you are fit and active, and that will definitely help - So, walk as much as possible now AND as soon as they say it is okay postop to be up and about, just walk walk walk.  No matter how sore you are, walking and moving will get your blood flowing and help you heal faster than you can imagine.  That is my "tip of the day." Congrats on your upcoming surgery, and let us know how you are doing.  As you can see, this board is a little slow these days, but hopefully with new surgeries and such, it will get up to speed.   Hi all, my surgery date is 5/23/08 I'm very excited and a little nervous I must say.  I'm wondering if any one has any suggestions for before surgery to have it go smoother?  Appreciate any input.

Yes, our group meets the second Monday of each month.   We would love to have you join us.  We are trying to get our group built back up.  The more the merrier.

Hi Melissa,  I need to get started in a support group again.  I went to the meetings on the coast but I don't think they are meeting anymore that I know of.  Does the Hattiesburg group meet the second Mon each month?   I read your post to Dawn and I too have stopped taking my vitamins and have gained some weight.  I have gone to the gym 5 days a week  for almost a year and havent lost a pound.  I will start back on the vitamins and hopefully that will help. Thanks for the info! Cindy

I like to do omelets.  I will use 2 eggs.  And I will put onions, tomato, cheese, and turkey sausage.  That taste so good to me.  With all the flavor from the other stuff you don't taste the egg so much.  LOL.   Melissa

I use the sublingual B-12.  The little tablets that dissolve under the tongue and go directly into the bloodstream work well for bringing levels up.  Give those a try.   Melissa

Topic: Eggs....
I have trouble with eggs. Always have, not so much the taste but the texture. I can eat a boiled egg if I salt and pepper it and eat while it is still warm.  Anyway, I am trying to learn to eat/like eggs. Please share your favorite recipes (containing eggs) with me. I am sure to find some winners on here.  Oh yeah, I can also do deviled eggs (anytime) and egg salad sometimes on taost. Please help a Mississippi girl learn to eat eggs....LOL!!
