U know those little plastic cups they bring you in the hospital with the pills in them?  Well that is about 2 ozs.  I had a friend the supplied me with a ton of those for when I was home doing liquids after my surgery.  You prob can get some from the hospital.

Topic: No froo froo stuff for Janielyn

Well we did not win the sl100 contest so no froo froo gift certificates for us.  lol lol  I am just truly surprised and happy we made it to the top 10.  I can not thank you guys enough for all the votes and support!  Christine I dont think I can handle another baby contest.  lol lol  Too bad you can enter your Cutie you know she would win.  Especially if we could all send in the $500 per vote huh.  lol lol  I cant make it tonight cause Wally has extended Nat'l Guard drill so I have to pick Janielyn up at 4pm this evening.  I truly wish I did not live so far away or I would come and bring her.  I promise I am gonna make a group one Monday and bring her.  Hopefully before she is 18.  lol lol  Post some pictures of your princess!

Luv ya

Let's see...I DO live in CLINTON...can't really tell you how it compares to other areas locally (We have only lived here since Jan 08) I do like it here...I enjoy our support group and would love to see it grow...Kim is our leader right now...she is a great gal.....

Not having had my surgery here, I don't know the Docs or the staff at the office..but those that I have met are great...Finding good support was very important to me...(with having moved into the area)

Keep us posted and write if you have any questions about the area...If I don't have an answer...I will find one...

Thanks Marcia! I really appreciate you writing as I haven't heard from many in the actual area.

I will certainly connect with local groups as we prepare to move.  Thank you again!

You will be very welcome here.  We have a support group at Central Mississippi Medical Center that you will be welcome to join.  Clinton is a very nice town, close to Jackson, with good public schools (and Mississippi College is a great little college - got my master's there.

Let us know when you get here and we'll hook you up with folks.  And Ken Cleveland/Erin Cummins at CMMC are the best if you need follow-up care.

Topic: What is 2 - 3 oz of liquid?

What is the best way to measure 2 - 3 oz of liquid? I don't have to haul a scale around with me everywhere I go. Is this a shot glass? Or is there another way to eyeball this measurement?

Thanks,

Tammy
