Pecan Crusted Chicken
4 b/s chicken breast
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
Preheat overn to 350 degrees. Combine honey and mustard, spread on both sides of chicken and dredge in chopped pecans. Arrange chicken in a lightly sprayed baking dish. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until tender

The closest Lap Band surgeon to Hattiesburg is Dr. Avara in Ocean Springs. He will be my surgeon. His office is now hosting these monthly meetings in Hattiesburg. They have only been doing this for the past 4 months. And I haven't been yet, but I plan to go next Tuesday night to check it out.
I thought I would pass along this information just in case any of you also wanted to come.

I just reviewed a dark chocolate protein bar and a chocolate milk flavored ready to drink protein shake on my blog.
There was a lady at last Saturday's seminar with me who was from Jackson. She was in a similar situation, until she spoke to Dr. Avara's office in Ocean Springs. She had been told for the past year, "Oh CMMC will get approval in the next month or 2". She called them a few weeks ago and was told that same line for the last time. So she called Dr. Avara's office.

Your only other option would be to call Medicare and see who they recommend.

I am looking forward to attending support group meetings and getting to know everyone. I know there are certain eating programs and drinking shakes getting ready for surgery and more afterwards, It will be extremely hard but getting my life healthy will be an award that I can not describe in words,
My problems are that I cannot find a doctor that will bill medicare and let me pay the co-payment prior to surgery or even office visits. Does anyone know of of a doctor that will

Just wanted to spread the news... the new insurance policy for Northrop Grumman ship building (blue cross blue shield/anthem) is now considering payment for lap band or RNY... I know a lot of employees or their family members have been denied with the old insurance policy....
