How is it going? I think that all of my tests have been completed and I will hopefully get a call from Dr. Cleveland's office tomorrow or Friday to set up my initial appointment with him. I had to stay on all of the Dr.'s every day to get all of the results of all of the tests faxed to Dr. Cleveland. It's like a part-time job.

Oh girl I hear you! I have had the same problem with my PCP. I saw her two weeks ago, of course I had to make an appointment, so basically I paid her nearly $200 to put the request in her hands personally (I had all the labs done previously so all she had to do was make a copy of these results and type my letter of clearance). She promised me she would get right on it. Well, after 1 1/2 weeks, I called her office. She could not find the letter that I had given her, so I had to fax her another copy. Last Thursday her nurse told me that she was dictating the letter of clearance and hopefully they would ge*****ped up and faxed to CMMC by the first of this week. Well, I finally had enough after two weeks of waiting and I called their office one more time and told them that since they still had not faxed the necessary documents to CMMC, I would be at their office at 3:00pm to pick it up personally. They assured me it would be ready by this time. I got to the office at 3pm on Monday and at 4pm I was still waiting..... She did not type the letter until I showed up at the office Monday. That really ticked me off, so now I have to find me another PCP. I am not going to pay high price for an internal medicine doctor that can not accomplish such a simple task. They kept telling me that the computers had been down for three weeks and that was why they could not print out the lab work. I asked couldn't they make a copy of what was in my file, but they do not keep hard paper copies of patient files, everything is in the computer. How strange is that? Anyway, it has been such a headache to get all this together for CMMC, but I think I finally have it all and hope to hear from Adam soon! Thanks for checking on me, be sure to keep me posted on how you are doing! Marci

Hey hon, glad to hear the latest....FYI - doctors' offices and hospitals are mostly going paperless these days and putting everything on the computer - even x-rays (the actual films and the reports), lab work, etc...lots of fancy software, but sucks when the computer system is down... Radiologists can read your x-rays at home as soon as they are done now most of the time - DeAnna. PS - looking forward to seeing ya Tuesday- D.
