One of our own is ill!!!

Glamourgirl J is postop lap RNY. Dr. Ferrugia performed her RNY on 4-18-06. While hospitalized, she had some postop complications as anemia which required 2u PRBC's and tachycardia. Well, she was discharged 4-22-06. I called to check on her tonight and her Mom informed me that she has been readmitted to CMMC. I didn't quiz her Mom to much because she doesn't really know me. However, I did attempt to call Jackie but I didn't get an answer. For those of you in the Jackson/Brandon/Richland/Pearl area, please if possible, stop by to check on her. If you're unable, please call. I think it's Rm 1435. If all else fails, just remember her in your thoughts and keep her lifted in your prayers. Thanx ......

Hey All, I am a co-worker and friend of hers. Myself and another close friend are going to visit her this morning. I can tell u she has a leak. That she had fluid build up around her spleen. For this they have a drain tube in and a 'pic' line for nutrients. She will not be able to eat or drink anything for at least 21 days and this was as of yesterday or rather 05/01/06. I will talk to her about updating with more info after our visit tomorrow. She is a very private person, and I do not want to say more than she wants others to know. Just keep her in your prayers and I will let her know everyone on here is concerned. Thanks, Angie S Meridian
