question; starting your period again???

Help; I have gone through the change several years ago like 3 and I started my period yesterday. I called Jennie and she said it was normal. I am curious did anyone else have this??? It is a real shocker for me. I am in Jacksonville, Fla. with work and had to find a store and get some things last night. What a mess? Just curious and concerned. Steph
