Meridian anyone??
Hey there Meridian
You are correct it is tough, this is why I often laugh when I hear someone refer to this as the "easy way out". They simply have no idea, it is one heck of a journey, but what a life changing event it is. I really don't think I would change my decision in the slightest. I had the RNY in September 2010 and haven't stopped. I reached my goal rather quick and this scares me, but I am now about 10 lbs below goal and ran my first 1/2 maraton on May 1, 2011.
I hope everything is working out for you, keep your head up and focused!!
Take care,
Jimmy

Hey there. You have done great! I actually live in Lake which is half way between Meridian and Jackson...out in the sticks! This is DEFINITELY not the easy way out. It has been alot tougher than I ever imagined. I never thought I would actually look forward to solid food so much. It's a complete alteration of life! COMPLETE. I've had my food "funeral" and cried...it's been way more emotional than I ever expected! But 29 lbs and I'm super excited.

I know where Lake is, I visit travel a great deal in the Meridian and surrounding area. As for our journey it is amazing and very tough. As you said, it changes our life and I hope it is forever. I don't ever want to get back to where I was, I worry almost everyday about gaining the weight back. You should be excited and we can't ever forget where we came from. Congratulations on being a "Loser" and forever losing the 29lbs. Great talking to you and keep in touch
