How consistent are you with your New Year's Resolution?
I've not been 100% on mine, but I've not been a failure either. My goal was to go to Curves 3 times a week. And I've averaged 2 1/2 days a week :-D And I've gotten close to going 5 days a week. i've heard that it takes at least 2 weeks to change a pattern, so hopefully this will become a permanent part of my routine.

Hey Tammy,
I did not really make any resolutions but I joined a gym and got a personal trainer last Monday 1-26-09. My goal was to go three times a week and last week I went 5 times and this week I have been 4 times. I also have been religious about keeping my food journal since 1-24-09. I mean I write EVERYTHING I eat down in this thing along with my activity level, what I drink everything. I think the 2 weeks to change a pattern thing is prob true. I am almost to the point of addicted writing in my food journal. The exercise is going wonderful to. I am hoping I get to the point where it just becomes nature to go at lunch and workout everyday. I have lost 7 lbs in 2 weeks so that is true motivation.
Glad to hear you are doing good with your workouts. I think realizing that you HAVE to do something for you and that there REALLY is no excuse for not exercising. It is just that excuses. I finally came to the conclusion that I OWE this to myself and I deserve to have at least that 1 1/2 to myself. Would I rather be doing someting other than exercise? OF COURSE. lol lol But I want it to become something I truly enjoy doing instead of something I feel I have to do. lol lol
