It's almost Thanksgiving??? Where has this year gone? I certainly is flying by. So, are you already planning your Thanksgiving? If so, share your plans. Ours are sort of up in the air for right now. My grandmother has been very sick this past year. She has gone from living indepentantly to moving into an assisted living center all since March. Pretty much any little thing wipes her out. She is feeling bad because Thanksgiving will not be at her house this year. Plans are a little up in the air until we see how she is feeling (which will be the week of). We are talking about going to a nearby restaurant. Time will tell. Then we will also be having Thanksgiving at my mil's. The holidays are always soooo busy and way too much food....

I ordered a Thanksgiving box from Angel Food. For $30 I can feed our entire family with leftovers! And instead of driving to and from Iowa to visit family, we just bought a plane ticket for my mom to come down & visit us Thanksgiving week. She's mentally-challenged and can't drive so she's skittish about flying. But it's non-stop and it's less than 2 hours in the air compared to a 24 hour bus ride for her, or 24 hours of driving for us. So wish us luck on that.

Well, we decided to day that Thanksgiving will be at my house since I am the closest to the ALF where my grandmother lives. I hope your mom has a safe and uneventful trip to your house (and back). I hope you have a wonderful visit.
