It's still a little chilly this morning, but my daughter and are planning on driving to Collins today to visit a Pumpkin Maze. It sounds like fun and definitely different. Then tonight we are going to Lucedale to see Casting Crowns in concert. I am looking forward to a fun and relaxing day.

I hope the rest of you have a great weekend too!

Sounds like a fun day. I hope you enjoyed it. We (the company I work for) had a booth at the Fall Festival in Booneville today. We sold gourmet popcorn, cokes and chances on a $100.00 gas card. I had to get up at 5a (that just isn't right for a saturday...lol). Anyway, we had a fun time and saw lots of arts and crafts. There were some really pretty things. Anywhoo, I am beat and going to rest for awhile (curl up by hubby on the cush and watch tv...sleep, lol).

Hello, I'm a lurker here, but wanted to ask you how you liked the pumpkin maze? I am relatively new to MS, and don't know anyone or what's out there, and would really like to take my 3.5 yr old to do something like this. I took him on a hay ride last year and we picked a pumpkin and he loved it. I'm also a photography enthusiast and would love a chance for some fall themed photos.

Hope you had a nice weekend!

It was AWESOME!! My 15 year old is like me. We would be happy sitting in a corner, reading a book. We're not real out-doorsey types. However, we had a great time! For $6 you get to tour old homestead houses, play in the corn pool, play in tipis (TeePees?), ride a tractor trailer around the property, walk through a wheat maze, walk through a hay maze, and pick your own pumpkin out of the patch. And there are swings everywhere for the kids to play on. There are picnic tables so you can bring your own food and eat there, or buy food there.

My daughter and I loved it! Make sure to take your camera. In fact, we took a digital camera so we could take a picture of the map of the wheat maze. And we kept referring to it while trying to find out way out. It was fun!

We may even go back another day when my husband isn't working.
