singing....Getting to know you!!!

Hey ya'll!  I'm from po-dunk Perkinston, MS.  I am having RNY on October 24th with Dr James Redmann in Covington, LA.  I've been reading up and see there are a good showing of Mississippians on here. I think I would be interested in the Hattiesburg support group too.  I am really looking forward to being a loser!!!

Shel E. Howdy neighbor!!!  We'll definately have to meet up!  Instead of meeting up to eat...which is what I am accustomed to....we could meet at the park in Wiggins and go WALKING!!!

I'm so disappointed about the meeting tonight!  I work nights and of course I work tonight!  Please let me know when the next one is....as soon as you know!  I NEED companionship! LOL

Rhonda, I just had to write when I saw you live in Perkinson.  We are in the process of moving over there.  We are expecting to close within the next week or so.  The company my husband works for has opened an office in McHenry.  Good luck and God bless on your surgery.  I hope everything goes well for you.  Maybe we will get to meet once we get moved over there.

Welcome to the boards. There are 2 support groups in Hattiesburg. Melissa in Petal can give you the info on the one that meets at Pine Grove. And I attend the one at Dr. Beverly Smallwood's office, the last Tuesday night of each month. I post the info here each month.
I had the Lap Band, but will be glad to answer any questions you may have.

The meeting at Pine Grove is tonight at 6:30 in the assembly hall.  Most of the attendees have had the Rny, but occasionally we have some lapbanders come in.  We would love to have you.  Welcome to the boards and good luck with your upcoming surgery.  Keep us posted on how you are doing.
