2 weeks out, stabbing pain in back?

Does anyone know what the stabbing pain in my back, behind my stomach could be?  I've not had it until this afternoon and I've not done anything or eaten anything that would irritate my stomach?  Sure lets me know it's there when I move!

I would suggest calling your doctor if it has not gone away today. Did you have open or lap RNY? If lap, it might be trapped gas from surgery. In any case I woudl give my doc a quick call, couldn't hurt.

I had lap RNY....don't know what it was, but it's gone now.....I had some caffiene yesterday (US tea) for the first time and that may have done it.....I'm feeling better.  Thanks!

Anita,
Now is not the time to be stubborn! Don't wait too long to call your doctor about anything that is not normal. That is what he went to school all those years for. . .
I'm glad you are feeling better, but don't make me get onto you.
Love ya,
Tammy

I see my doctor tomorrow and I plan to ask him what this re-occurring floating discomfort is.....it's annoying, comes and goes, and I know that sounds crazy.  Hoping it's gas, but kinda think 2 weeks out is long for any trapped gas from surgery.  We'll see!

Please don't get on to me!  I'm doing all the right things, I swear!  LOL!
