Update

I have just updated my blog. It has my stats for two week post-op.

HOLY COW!!! Jay that is AWESOME!!! Praise God you are having such great results! Jay, you are such an inspiration to others. And you will have an amazing testimony on how you came through all of this with such great results. I am so proud of you!!!

Jay, My fill went wonderfully well!

I lost 10 lbs pre-surgery and 16 lbs post-surgery for a total of 26 lbs. YEAH!!!

I waited about an hour for Dr. Avara to come in. He was only in the room for about 5 minutes for the fill. He had me lay down on the bed, lifting my legs up from the bed about 6 inches. He felt on my abdomen, locating my port. Dr. Avara then sanitized my abdomen. He had me lift my legs up 6 inches again. He popped in the syringe, giving me 3 1/2 cc. Dr. Avara even laughed at how loose my pants were. No pain, no problem. My husband however, HATES needles. And I thought he was going to faint when he saw the size of the needle. I admit I was a little nervous, especially after hearing some of the ladies complain about it in the last support group. But it was really nothing.

Then I celebrated by going to America's Thrift Store and buying 5 or 6 new shirts.  WOO HOO!!
